THEATRE PLAY

Dorothy is walking alone and scared following the yellow path. Suddenly, she sees something on the side of the road. She approaches it carefully, but tips onto a rock and fells to  the floor.

Dorothy: Ahhh!
Tin Man: Oh, dear! Are you OK?

The Tin Man helps her to stand up and hugs her.

Tin Man: Everything is going to be OK, do not worry. Where are you going?
Dorothy: To Oz. I want to see the Wizard. But I feel so alone in the road.
Tin Man (raising one hand) Idea! I can go with you, so you do not feel alone. And, if he is a real wizard, he can give me a heart.
Dorothy: What a wonderful idea! Thank you!

With a smile, they both continue and start singing: “We are going to see the wizard...”

Suddenly, a laud roar stops them. They look around and they see a big animal coming for them. Before it gets closer, a big golden lion appears and roar so laud, it scares the monster.

Lion: Are you both good? That was so scary.
Dorothy: Indeed, buy you were so brave.
Lion: Brave? No! I am a coward. I wish I can be brave.
Tin Man: You can come with us, we are going to see a Wizard.
Lion: What a wonderful idea! I can ask him for bravery.

The three of them continue their way singing: “We are going to see the wizard...”

But a river stops them. Looking for a place to cross it, they find a Scarecrow building a machine.

Dorothy: Good morning, sir. Do you know if there is a bridge to cross the river?
Scarecrow: There was a long time ago, but not now, that is why I am building a machine to cross it safely. If you help me, we can cross it faster.
Tin Man: What a wonderful idea! I really want to ask the Wizard for a heart.
Scarecrow: Are you going to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz? Me, too.
Lion: Why? You seem smart enough.
Scarecrow: I wish for a brain.
Dorothy: Let´s get to work.

When they finish, they continue their way together singing: “We are going to see the wizard...”
