THEATRE PLAY

(Five people on stage: Rumpelstiltskin, the Princess, the father and the King, all sitting down on chairs and the host of the program)

-Host: Good morning ladies and gentlemen! We are here today in the big discussion of the kingdom. Today, from right to left we have with us: our beloved one: The King! (He stands up and raises his hands solemnly) the father of the Princess to be! (he stands up and bends his body clumsily) The Princess to be! (She says hi from her chair timidly) and the great liar... Rumpelstiltskin! (He stands up angrily and points at the host)

-Rumpelstiltskin: I am not a liar, sir! We made a bet and she lost it! She has to give me her baby!

-Princess: I did not lose it! I guessed your name correctly. And, anyway, I would never do that bet if my father did not lie in the first place.

-Father: Do not dare to speak to me like that, young lady!

-King: (looking at the father) Do not speak to your Princess to be like that. She is right! You lied to me.

-Father: I am so sorry your majesty. But the taxes you established were really high and we did not have money to eat.

(They all start talking at the same time, facing and pointing to each other)

-Host: (raising both hands) Ok, ok! Relax. We are here to solve this discussion. Just for clarification to our audience: (counting while speaking) The Princess cheated to Rumpelstiltskin because her father lied to our beloved King because he established really high taxes. Is it that correct?

-All at the same time: Yes!

-Rumpelstiltskin: But I did not lie to anyone. I am not guilty of having such an impossible name.

-Host: So you are blaming your mother for naming you like that. In fact, every one of you is blaming the other and you are not accepting your own responsibility in this story. You all lied.

(Everyone looks guilty to the ground)
